Competition classes

Our Competition lines attend three to four competitions a year. All competition students are required to attend a weekly turns and leaps class (this class will not have a performance in the recital). The technique classes focus on fundamental steps that correlate with the steps they are learning in their competition classes. Competition students are also required to take one ballet class each week. We will also be holding intensives throughout the year. Competition students will be required to attend a minimum of two. Please note: Competition students are required to be in attendance for the five classes prior to a competition. If one of these classes is missed, the student will not be allowed to attend competition. (Exceptions will be made for emergencies only on a case-by-case basis.)

Hip Hop

Hip Hop is high energy street movement as seen in music videos by artists such as Justin Timberlake and Usher. Hip-Hop has a range of styles, from breakdancing, pop-n-lock, to krumping. Hip hop dancing is a broad genre giving the teacher freedom and room for personal interpretation, and allowing them to mix various styles freely, even mixing them with other dance forms such as jazz dance

Dads'n Dollz

Fathers come together with their daughters in a loving and caring environment. This is a memorable experience that creates an everlasting bond between child and parent. They work together as a team and progress to learning a dance routine to be performed at the recital, competitions, community events and parades. We have both competitive and non-competitive (recital only) classes. You must be enrolled as a dance student at Premiere to qualify for placement in a Father/Daughter class.

Litte Starz

If your child is between the ages of 3 and 4 yrs old, you may sign up for our popular Little Starz Program! It is an 'in house' program geared for this age dancer and is a great intro into the world of dance without the long term commitment and cost. The sessions run 6 to 10 weeks and are held several times throughout the year. The classes are 45 minutes in length and provide instruction in tap and creative movement. The class session ends with a short performance, and certificate of completion. If you are interested in our next session of Little Starz, please go to our registration page for more info.
